Thom Yorke and it has some of the best lyrics that I've heard in a while.

It was about a mother who was slowly becoming blind and she was basically trying to look on the bright side. It's very sweet.

The lyrics may be slightly different to the video.

I've seen it all, I have seen the trees,
I've seen the willow leaves dancing in the breeze
I've seen a man killed by his best friend,
And lives that were over before they were spent.
I've seen what I was - I know what I'll be
I've seen it all - there is no more to see!

You haven't seen elephants, kings or Peru!
I'm happy to say I had better to do
What about China? Have you seen the Great Wall?
All walls are great, if the roof doesn't fall!

And the man you will marry?
The home you will share?
To be honest, I really don't care...

You've never been to Niagara Falls?
I have seen water, its water, that's all...
The Eiffel Tower, the Empire State?
My pulse was as high on my very first date!
Your grandson's hand as he plays with your hair?
To be honest, I really don't care...

I've seen it all, I've seen the dark
I've seen the brightness in one little spark.
I've seen what I chose and I've seen what I need,
And that is enough, to want more would be greed.
I've seen what I was and I know what I'll be
I've seen it all - there is no more to see!

You've seen it all and all you have seen
You can always review on your own little screen
The light and the dark, the big and the small
Just keep in mind - you need no more at all
You've seen what you were and know what you'll be
You've seen it all - there is no more to see!

  Comments

Repetition

This is basically the only thing I ever blog about but I was wondering if anyone knew any good bands because I am once again in search of come new music. I am not really into classical or r'n'b music but apart from that I like anything.

Thanks for any suggestions

Oh and also there are some sneaky peeks at the Mighty Boosh book which you can pre-order on Amazon on this link http://themightybooshsite.trinitystreetdirect.com/news.aspx?id=58 you just have to click on the thumbnails to read what they say.
Bollo's letter is really funny.

  Comments

Top Songs

I have been getting into some tunes recently. Here are a few.

Minty - Useless Man

This song is basically a man (Leigh Bowery to be precise) talking very fast in a tourette like manor. Robots played it on their DJ set at the Mighty Boosh Festival and I couldn't stop thinking about it ever since.

Le Tigre - Deceptacon

It's a really good track to dance to. If you like stuff like Peaches and Chicks on Speed you will most likely like them.

The Kills - Tape Song

Erm ignore the video. This was the best sounding video of this song that I could find.
I just really like it is such a simple song but Alisons so voice is so powerful that it makes it all good.

Mint Royale - Blue Song

I think the video speaks for itself

I dont have any more videos but there are some other good songs;

Money - Daggers
Little Girls- X-Ray Eyes
Fine As Fuck- Scream Club feat Peaches
Set it Off- Peaches

That's I can be asked to do.

Oh if anyone knows any good bands please let me know.

Cheers
x

  Comments

My Life (Soundtrack)

If my life were a movie this is what my sountrack will be.

To do this basically you have to put your ipod/itunes/any music thing on shuffle and see with what it comes up with. Each time you get a song you type it next to a part of your life but you have to do it in order (if that makes ANY sense.)

Well anyway I was bored and here's mine.

Agony, Painful Scene: In The Garden- Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster
Break-up Scene : No Wow- The Kills
Nightclub/Dance Scene : Luno- Death From Above 1979
Contemplation Scene:Chronicles Of A Bohemian Teenager - Get Cape.Wear Cape. Fly
Love Scene: Sailor-IAMX (that was a good one)
Kissing Scene: Operate- Peaches
I have brown eyes and I want to completely change the colour to either green or blue but I can't find any good sites.
They are purely cosmetic because i don't need glasses but I kind of want to get some by the end of this month so i need to find some quickly.

I will be happy with any help that anyone could give.
Thank you

If you haven't heard her stuff yet please check her out @ www.myspace.com/jennermusicthanks

Her stuff has been referred to as Sue and the Unicorn like
and has a really sweet voice.

To those of you who have already checked her out, thank you and she has added new stuff if you are interested.

I got a live perfomance from her today.
It was beautiful.

First friends. Ok I have this friend Robyn a.ka Tinybox and she's started making her own music so please check her out if you can. It's acoustic and she has a sweet voice so add her or just listen to her stuff. She's amazing. http://www.myspace.com/jennermusicthanks

And secondly the eye. Basically I just drew a picture free hand of the Ebert eye thing for my art project and well here it is..

Oh yeah one more thing is Simon Amstell okay? Because I heard he's got HIV or AIDS or something but I don't know whether to believe the hype.

  Comments

Ben Loka

My friend recently showed him to me. He is slightly strange but some of the stuff he says is quite amusing.

  Comments

Love Music Hate Racism

I went with my friends today to the Love Music Hate Racism carnival and it was really good. We went really because it was free (excluding the £8 it took to get there)and because Babyshambles were meant to be playing, but they weren't anymore because Pete Doherty is obviously still in jail and couldn't perform.
There were other good bands there too though, Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly, Akala, The Paddingtons and Patrick Wolf were the four that we managed to see all of the way through. Patrick Wolf was the last person to perform on that stage, but he was the best one we saw. He was such a good front man and i do think he is quite attractive.

Overall the day was really good and had an amazing atmosphere. Everyone who stepped into the carnival had the same view; that the BNP should be wiped out and racism should be put to an end. The BNP is slowly becoming more of a threat, so if you're old enough to vote, vote against them because you're vote could be the difference between a peaceful and multicultured country and a Nazi nightmare.

I don't have much else to say really apart from when the next one comes up you should go because it was definately worth the £8 it took to get there and it was really good to be there and experience being among the thousands of people there all united in their love of music and hate of racism.

x

  Comments

The Future? Because my mum said thats where she went wrong because she didn't know what she wanted to do.
But the thing is I'm not amazing at anything so my talents don't make the decision up for me. I'm ok at everything but I'm not amazing at something.
I love art and music but I can't draw very well and I can't sing or play an instrument.

I can beat everyone at singstar but thats an electronic liar because one of my friends is amazing at singing and i beat her. And my sister was actually going to be in a band and I beat her so easily. And I can beat my friends at guitar hero and most of them actually play guitars. SO basically its decided that I'm a ps2musician but thats not really going to help me.

I like looking up new bands and everything so quite a few people I know say i should become a DJ because for my age apparently I know a lot of music.

We went there to see Noel's artwork and it is really good. Some of the things hes done have turned up in the Boosh eg, Jahooli the leopard and the snake from the Hitcher episode in Series one. There was a painitngs of Bryan Ferry, Freddie Mercury and Mick Jagger. There was a painitng of Naboo with his back turned with a caption that says "I'm gonna have to turn my back on you." There was also a painting of Dee with the caption, "The girl I love is called Dee she wears cowboy hats and tight trousers just like me." I thought that was really sweet. There were lots of little doodles and stories on the wall. Also the cafe is good too and it smells really nice. So if you're bored go there and see his exhibition its up till the 29th so you have the half term to get down there. You can buy his art too but you have to be quite well off because it ranges from £360-£8000...

Anwyay after that we went to the signing and they performed 6 or 7 songs. They were really good. Noel even turned up for a while but he disapperaed backstage because there were some crazy girl fans. Then we waited in line for them to sign stuff. They signed my album and they signed my friend's shoe. We also got Sue to leave a voice mail on my friends phone as she was in Bulgaria and she really likes them. ( She also missed the Horrors too which she was really annoyed about.) And then we waited around the shop looking at albums and we were given some posters advertising the signing that were around the shop. Then when we looked around to see where the Robots went we saw Ami from the former band DDIBB. We went down to her she loooked a bit lost. This is how the conversation went;
Bekki (my friend): Hi are you Ami from DDIBB?
Ami: Yeah I am Did you come to see the robots then?
Us: Yeah
Ami: Oh have they gone?
Jesse (my other friend): Well they might be backstage or something but they're not right here now.
Ami: Oh ok
Bekki: We came to see you at Brighton but you cancelled.
Ami's phone rings
Ami: Whoops sorry hold on one second
She answers it. i think it might have been Betty Q from team awesome as she was at the signing too.
Ami: Sorry about that, anyway what were you saying?
Bekki: We came to see you in Brigton but you weren't there.
Ami: Oh yeah sorry we didn't do the gig it's because we're not together anymore. I'm on tour at the moment ( might of explained why she had a big suitcase with her) and we are still going to do stuff just seperately.
Us: Oh ok
Bekki: Can we have a picture with you?
Ami: Yeah sure.
Bekki's brother takes the photo.
Us: Thanks
Ami: OK I have to go now nice meeting you bye.
She left.

We then considered following her to see where she went as we saw her meet up with Betty Q at the top and were curious as to who was up there but then decided not to because that would have been stalking. We did wait around in the shop though as we got amused by the fact that you could listen to any album that you wanted if you scanned the album at this place and then you could listen to it on the headphones.
After a while though we got bored and left but we did see a few other Robots fans lurking around the store to see if they came out, but I doubt they were still there or if they were they were in there for most of the night.

It was a really good day though. The Robots were really good and Ami was really nice. Still haven't had the chance to talk to Noel though. Meh maybe third time lucky.x

NEW BANDS anyone ?

Does anyone know any good bands because I'm bored of my music listening to it 24/7 so if anyone knows any bands (preferably alternative rock electro but I listen to anything really) then can you please tell me.

Thank you

Oh yeah and this has nothing to do with it but you can pre-order Mighty Boosh series 3 on DVD at amazon for about £13 but I don't think that includes postage and packaging and I think that it's released on the 28th of January.

Ok basically after really short notice me and two of my Jesse and Bekki and Bekki's older brother John all went to the Good Ship to watch a series of amazing bands. There were two that I had never heard of but I was mainly going to listen to Deaddoginblackbag, Trash Money and Dee Plume DJing. It wasn't that easy. Because we were all under 18 apart from John they wouldn't let us in at first and because Bekki had got us on the list somehow she was like "No. We're on the list" and then this woman was scrolling through the list and guess who was on the list. They went by the names of Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt and I was like holy shitsauce we had better get in. I doubted that they would turn up but I was still pretty excited.
In the end they let us in but they said that we had to go after the bands had finished and couldn't stay for the DJing which was a bit depressing.
When we got there another one of Bekki's friends were there (because we got there late) and they told us that Deaddoginblackbag had already played and Rich Fulcher was with them. And we were all quite annoyed about that. But we carried on watching the bands. We were standing around for a while and then someone was trying to squeeze past me. Jesse nudged me i turned around and there was Deaddoginblackbag (I'm going to write that in shorthand now because its a menace to keep typing all the time to DDIB and Rich Fulcher moving behind me and i was like wow.
After that was over I kept glancing at the entrance to see if Noel would turn up because if you haven't guessed already I hadn't seen him before and i am a little obsessed with him. But he didn't come. And so we were standing there for a while and then John came running to us saying Dee and Noel are outside ! So we quickly rushed to the entrance and he said that he hadnt seen them and I was like oh. And i was thinking life is just teasing me now. And then Jesse turned to me discreetly Noel and Dee are there and I was like whatever but decided to turn around anyway. The first thing I saw was Dee in her little hat she looked so sweet. And then I looked at the people around her and yes there was Noel aswel in his green jacket and silver boots. And i was just going wow wow wow wow the whole time I was there. It was so sweet though they make such a good couple. They were talking to each other for a while by the bar which was also where the DJ set was and thats where Noel became infatuated with a drawing of some rabid dog and he kept looking at it and touching it he even took a picture of it. it looked like it could be with slight editing though a mighty boosh character it even might have slightly looked like the crack fox. But if we ever see that character on the mighty boosh that looks like that picture i know where they got influenced from. Anyway Noel walked past me ( as i was i the best place all the time always nearest to all of them because Rich was standing right behind me most of the time) and went up to the higher balcony bit where all of the bands got ready and everything. Every now and then though he kept glancing to see where Dee was which I found quite sweet. And then he walked past me again to go and see Dee and they were talking for a while and then they walked right past me and stopped right next to me and were talking but I just can't remember what they were saying. Then Noel went back to the bar and Dee went down to dance shes a crazy dancer it was cool though she was wearing Sex Has Made Me Stupid top. At some point during this Noel threw a straw down at the dancefloor. Then after a while he went down (yes past me again) to dance.
Time passed and then we decided to go down just before Trash Money came on. Just before this one of the hosts were saying that anyone under 18 needed to leave but we weren't going to leave that early it was only 10.30 or something like that. I thought that I might be able to get away with it because apparently i look 18 anyway but Jesse looks 15 so she was a bit scared if any of the hosts saw her they'd kick her out.
Anyway we went down to the dancefloor and were there for a while and then Noel came along and started dancing right next to us. Honestly if i stepped forward 15 cms I would have been knocking into him. He looked happy with life so we were too scared to ask him for a photo or anything. And then Noel accidentaly wacked John round the face and Noel said sorry and kissed him. He's lovely. He was dancing for a while. By this time Dee had started Djing and was just above Noel. Noel doing some inside joke with her or something because they were both doing some type of signing to each other. Then Dee started talking to someone and Noel was trying to talk to her and he was shouting DEE really loud but the music was so loud she couldn't hear him and he was jumping up and down trying to grab her attention he even tried to grab her foot at one point.in the end he gave up and walked back and we were wowing because we were so close to him for quite a while. Then there was a guy walking around and he asked us if we had any ID and we said no and so he said we had to go and so we were walking out slowly and then we saw Noel really close and Bekki wanted a picture so she said to the guy that we had to talk to someone but he said no and we had to leave. So we got outside and we were kicking ourselves that we didn't get a picture with him. But then we turned around and saw Rich so Bekki went up to him and this is how this is how the conversation went.

Bekki: Hi I'm sorry do you mind if we can have a picture with you?
Rich: No that's great I love pictures! So why are you out here then?
Jesse: They chucked us out
Rich:Oh that's sad why?
Me: Because we're not old enough
Rich: Oh no I had that same problem once about 4 years ago............. No not really.
Bekki: Yer and we wanted to get a picture with Noel but they wouldn't let us.
Rich: Oh no i don't know what to say about that. He might come out. If he does you should jump on him
Me: Ok
Bekki: But we have to get a train now
Jesse: Stupid ID guy
Rich was shaking his head
Rich: You should get a gun....... is that wierd?
we laughed but then we had to go because otherwise we would have to wait till 6 in the morning to get home which i didn't really mind because I wanted to get a picture but it would be a bit late. Anwyay the ID guy had come out and said that we had to go. Or wait around the corner. So we said bye and went home. We kind of hoped that we would miss the train so then we could hang around outside the club.
I'm so annoyed that we didn't get a picture with Noel because now it feels like i never saw him and it is so surreal. It feels like he wasn't there when I know he was.
I hate my mind doing this to me. We don't know whether Julian turned up I don't think he did though.
But so far that was the best night of my life. I wish I talked to Noel though I'm kicking myself because of that but I saw Dee again woooh.

It was a pretty fucking fantastic night! The Soho Dolls were really cool i already knew about them but I hadn't heard all of their songs before. Prince Harry was my favourite and the keyboardist reminded me quite a bit of Joshua Von Grimm. At the end the Soho dolls were in the crowd and I stood next to him for a while. I was going to say "you're really good" and all that jazz but he was a bit preoccupied with a woman that he obviously knew so I didn't.
Then after some agonisingly long waiting IAMX came onstage. Anyways he threw a feather boa into the crowd and guess who has some of the feathers????? Uhuh twas me! Reading back through that I must seem so sad Oh well I'm keeping them as a souvernier for that night.

Good times good times.

Oh STiCKs if you're reading this I just want to say that I saw you there!!! I was the girl with the fairly big hair. I did smile at you but then we had to go so i couldn't come over and talk to you.

Only two more people who I really want to see or meet before I die and that would be Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt because they're such great guys and oh I just want to meet them. Which reminds me the new series is really good so far, bit more sinister in parts well in the episode "Eels" it sure was. Favourite one so far has got to be "The Power Of The Crimp" it's got so many songs and crimps in it (well like 2 songs and 10 mini crimps and 1 big crimp but that's still quite a lot for one episode. Yes I love that one so much. Oh "Journey to the Centre Of The Punk" is pretty good too. I like that white top that Noel's wearing in it with the red lines. Really nice.
Oh yes that reminds me. I am so angry kind of because the Mighty Boosh has got really mainstream now well not really mainstream but you know what I mean. It will never be completely mainstream because its not mainstream comedy although one of my friends think that series 3 has a commercialised look to it now instead of the amateur look that it had in the first series. i do kind of agree with her I do kind of miss the amateurness but all of the series' are good in a different way and I love it for that. I love all of the series' the same. Anyway my anger... yeah well there's like these plastics and they're like Oh yer the Mighty Boosh and they don't even know the half of it. They only know the Soup Song and thats about it. i basically blame this boy in my class, hes pretty cool but he always goes on and on about the Mighty Boosh and he showed the whole class the Eels episode on the internet and I was like noooooooooooo. But it was too late and now tons of people going around thinking they know it all when they have only seen one episode and it wasn't even that! I'm going to have to hit that boy one day.

As I'm pretty bored and I'm just pouring out my thoughts onto here like milk on coco pops I'm going to say that I'm starting to like some bands like Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster they're pretty good they kind of remind me of the Horrors in a way. They're really alike but completely different at the same time. I also like Test-Icicles but only one of their songs truly.

I'm rambling on ok ok finish erm oh yer to add to that list of the two people that I want to meet or see before I die I want to see Sue Denim and Dee Plume again because you have to admit that they're a pretty cool duo.

I want to say so much but anyone that is reading this must either be falling asleep from boredom or gouging their eyes out with soft wooden spoons. Can you even get soft wooden spoons ? Who knows .x

It's not that bad really. Well it is really. Friends are good. Learning bad. I mean when I took art I didn't realise how much you were expected to do and when I was given my task all that was running through my head was my mind voice (the voice you create in your mind when you're thinking that kind of sounds like you) saying in slow-motion Shhhhhhhhiiiiiiittttt.

So basically now I have to become really antisocial to keep up with all the work. My friend is also doing the same course as me and she hates it too.

Anyway we were discussing at lunch about the Robots gig as it was one of the best nights of our lives and one of my friends said that one of her friends went to the Robots gig on the Wednesday and because it was a small place, Dee and Sue met the crowd afterwards and Noel and Chris were there and it turned out they were the robots that were dancing and so we kind of assumed that they were also at the gig at Islington on Thursday. It doesn't matter if it wasn't though, Dee and Sue were amazing on their own.

Sorry if this blog isn't making much sense because I'm listening to music at the same time. And if you're bored I would just stop reading it now as it doesn't get much more exciting than this.

Oh yeah and does anyone else get the same problem where people ask you what you want for Chistmas and you say " Oh I don't know. Just get me anything." They get you some pretty cool stuff but then Boxing Day comes and then you're like " Oh yeah that's what I want!" but then it's too late and then you're like great I'll have to wait till next Christmas or my birthday to get it and then by the time those events come round you don't like those things anymore and you can't think of what you want and it's a vicious circle that gets repeated over and over and I have just realised that this is a very long sentence and I just hope that noone is reading this out loud as they would probably be struggling for air by now if they're not bright enough to take a breath unless they're signalled to by little commas or fullstops so I will just stop this sentence now to spare them.

There you go.

Oh and as i am now officially bored of all of my music can anybody tell me any cool bands that are like alternative or electro or indie as those are the main categories that I like I would be most grateful and will give them a cyber hug !

Thank you
xxxxx

Here is the link to their MySpace page; http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=91088196

You can buy this 6 track album for £4.99. I think this includes postage if you are in the UK but don't hold it to me. The tracklisting is; Love Meat, Breeding for Money, The Mottled Scars Of Rabies, Boys In Bands,Tony Caesar and It's a surprise!

The last one "It's a surprise" I don't know if that is actually the name of the song or whether the song is in fact a surprise and you have to find out what the song is.

But yes that's the dealio do with it what you wish as long as it is for the good of humanity.

And now I'm off as I am unable to concerntrate on the Russell Brand show fully whilst typing this.

Good Night x

I am unable to interpret in words how excited i am about this forthcoming event on BBC3 November 15th . I am not so excited that i have to do a countdown on bebo though (partly because quite a few of my friends don't deserve to know them as they won't appreciate them and would only put their excellent humor down as far as possible).

Yes i have found out how to upload pictures

I have only heard a bit about it like it will have appearances from Gary Numan, Richard Ayoade, Noel Fielding's girlfriend (Dee Plume from Robots in Disguise)and both sets of parents. Some plot lines are it is set in Naboo's second hand shop where he sells under the counter shaman supplies to the local shaman of Dalston. Howard and Vince work there. and get to sell their own stuff. Howard sells rare pressings of early Charlie Mingus records. Vince sells luminous drainpipes and see through hats.During the series they get visits from a evil cockney gangster who controls the local eel community, the crack fox , a junky fox who lives in the alley at the back of the shop. and even get shrunk down and injected into the body of a dying punk.

Sounds brilliant. Can't wait. Seems like even though they have gone a bit mainstream the fame hasn't changed their comedy stylings one little bit.
I'm interested in what the look of the show and the songs will be like.

The suspense is killing me ahhhhh!

I guess it's only 12 more days. I can stand that.

  Comments

Robots In Disguise !!

I went to see Robots In Disguise last night and they were amaaaaaaaazing!

We Start Fires and Huski were on first though. I had heard of them before but I hadn't actually properly listened to their music. I thought Huski were ok and I quite liked We Start Fires but I couldn't appreciate them as much because I was waiting in anticipation for the Robots.

Then the Robots came crashing onto the stage (after a very long equipment check and break) and I screamed so loud as I was so happy. I still can't believe I saw them live. And it was the first gig that I've ever been to and I have to say its one of the best fooking gigs that you could go to for the first time.

Dee and Sue looked stunning as always.

I even managed to touch Dee's hand as I was right at the front woooooh! (I feel pretty pathetic now Oh well I don't care I touched Dee's hand!!) I felt a bit sorry for her though when people were grabbing her arse aggressively but I guess that's what you get when you jump into a crowd of fans.

They played all of their best songs; Girl, Turn it Up, Dj's Got A Gun, You Really Got Me, The Sex Has Made Me Stupid, La Nuit, Hot Gossip, Bed Scenes and Arguments. And they also played two other songs but I don't know what they were but by the sound of it not many other people did either.

I did take pictures but I kept on getting knocked about and so they're all blurry and they won't even upload on here anyways so I stole some from someones bebo. It's ok though I know them.

Oh yes and there were two people dressed as robots as well. I wonder who they were. My friends hoped that they were Noel Fielding and Chris Corner. I guess I kind of hope that too because I haven't meet either of them yet and seeing them that night would be a dream come true Noel especially. I highly doubt it was them though.

But basically over all to be honest it was the best night of my life x

  Comments

Russell Brand

Did anyone listen to Noel Fielding on the Russell Brand show on the 13th October.
It was so fucking funny. Noel was as funny as always and I started to realise why so many people like Russell Brand. If you missed it you can listen to it here:
http://www.mefeedia.com/entry/3781246/

Because before when he first came into the limelight (or when i first heard of him) on Big Brother's Big Mouth years ago i couldn't work him out and i thought he was just an idiot. But then I realised he's a really funny guy and he knows so many long words. Half the time i don't even understand him but he's still a true comic. I am buying his Booky Wook and there is no joke about it.

And also has anyone been watching Ponderland?

He looks really good in it I didn't even realise how skinny he is. It might have been because he is so tall that I never noticed it.

Someone I know however hasn't seen the Branded light yet as she thinks that he is the human version of a spider. Tall, gangly and hairy in all the wrong places. She also thinks that he's not funny and only is when hes joined with someone funny ie Noel and he repeats everything he says.

I beg to differ !

OK he is tall and slim BUT his hair is in the right place i mean how can it be in the wrong place?( And also how is a spider hairy in all the wrong places? ) His hair is lovely And he is funny. Although i do think that his humour flourishes when he is teamed up with someone like Noel for example the Big Fat Quiz Of The Year 2006, when they were teamed up they were amazing. But he is still funny on his own. There .

Ok that's about it for now.

Usually when you find people who are random you find them really interesting and like hanging around with them. Well sad, boring people have picked up on this and have decided that at the end of the message like byebeybe BYE byeeyeeeeee they will then say sorry gosh I'm so random.
Right. One: if you are random you don't apoligise.
Two: If you are random you don't SAY you're random.
Three: Saying bye lots of times is not random Especially at the end a message.

Ok that's my little banter over <del>gosh I'm so random </del> JUST KIDDING
